Medicine the way it ought to be

Hi, I’m Dr. Jesse Wade Charles. Thanks for stopping by.

I went into medicine because I’m passionate about connecting with patients, and helping them lead healthy, fulfilling lives. But our healthcare system doesn’t value deep connection, or prevention. It prioritizes volume and billing over human relationships and outcomes.

I opened Wayfinder Health Clinic because I believe good medicine takes time; time to actually know the person in front of you, time to catch problems before they become crises, time to develop the sort of connection that motivates patients to change their lives. By keeping our practice small, we can give you that time. Not just more years, but more life in them.

You’re the captain,

We’re the navigator

Your health is your journey. Nobody knows your body, your goals, your obstacles, or your priorities better than you do.

Our job isn't to drive the ship. It's to read the weather, know the waters, and help you chart the course you actually want to be on.

A Doctor Who Knows You Well

Unhurried visits mean real relationships, not rushed symptom management.

Motivation Rooted in What Matters to You

We help you connect health changes to your values and goals - not generic advice, but the reason that will truly get you there.

Health Happens Outside the Clinic

Nutrition, sleep, exercise, stress, and habits shape your health more than anything that happens in an office visit. We help you build a life that supports it.

Rural-Trained Skillset

Trained and experienced in rural medicine, where I've often had to be the ER, the specialist, and the follow-up. I can handle urgent issues, speciality care and many procedures right here, rather than sending you elsewhere.

Excellence in Chronic Disease Management

Lifestyle-first doesn't mean clinically soft. Whether its lifestyle management, medicines, or both, we are proactive in managing, and (sometimes) curing chronic disease.

Good care keeps you out of the hospital, saving you money, and more importantly, saving your health.

A Long-Term Ally

We check in, follow up, and sometimes challenge you. We walk your journey beside you

What is Direct Primary Care?

Better Outcomes

Transparent Pricing

No insurance co-pays, deductibles, or surprise bills. One flat monthly fee covers almost everything we do.

Low Cost Labs
